Wipe the blood stains off of our tongues and open up our eyes.
We spit hate all around and think that, because we are supposedly 'good' in our own eyes that makes us better than another.
Rip off that band-aid of pride off of us. 
Help us to see that the only way we can counter something is by going against it.
But we don't see it. 
We attack from the same team, just a different angle. 
Same victim.

How can we? When we don't have love residing within us. 
God you are love!
We don't have You within us so what are we trying to do?
Are we just playing roles?
Who are we fooling?
Maybe each other. Maybe ourselves, but you see us walk around with blindfolds playing Piñata.


Remove the blindfolds from our eyes and help us to see.
To really see. 
Because we have tried it our way.
For years and years now, we have tried doing it on our own.
We have tried it our way! Not yours.
We only ended up hurting each other in the process.
Help us to see again.
