Get me out. Get me out of this hell hole, this hold, this box. I made a home here. Thinking that's where I belong. Been here so long I got comfortable. But never really comfortable. Because it never felt, right, you know? That feeling? That gut feeling that screams "Get me out of here!" But I keep silencing it. Taped shut! "Shhhh shut up. I don't want to hear it! Stop complaining! Accept what you have. You have a home here. Why can't you just be happy. Settle down." Settle? In here? I feel like I'm suffocating, I can't. So I will continue to scream until you hear me. Until you get sick of the noise. And if that doesn't work I'll start to kick. I will start to knock on these walls of your mind and your very conscience until you LISTEN! STOP IGNORING ME. Get me out. Because I need to fight. I will fight. Life or death.
“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord , you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NLT
Dear Damsel in Distress,
Don't give up hope, don't give up the fight. No matter how hard it gets. How strong the opposition. You were born a fighter don't subdue it. Don't ignore it. Don't silence it. Fight for what you deserve. For what is life, if its not going to be lived? Living a life where you are walking dead is the greatest tragedy. Life is a gift. It is a present. Be present. Alive.
Sincerely...
