Well I am no longer 'that girl.'
That girl whom you thought would succumb to your words of nothings.
I am no longer that girl.
'That girl' is dead.
I am no longer that girl, who thought that you were her greatest pride and joy.
Because finally a boy accepted her.. or so she thought.

I am no longer 'that girl.'
That girl who didn't know that she owned a crown.
I am no longer that girl.
That girl is dead.
She is so gone.

I don't know what you see when you see me, but when I see me, I see a woman. A queen.

And, she is no longer a girl.
Those childish things, those childish ways, she had to let go of.
She had to take her life back from your hands.
She is a woman.
Still learning, still growing.
It's tough but, at least she knows she is no longer 'that girl'.

That girl grew up.
And she learnt that life isn't a bed of roses.
Everything isn't about fairy tales.

Sometimes you think you fall in love with Prince Charming, but then you realize that he was just a boy who played with little girls' crowns.
He wasn't her prince.

She had to learn.
Life is more than a love story.
She had to have her own story.
Get her act together, or else hers would soon be over.
She had to learn.
And fight to no longer be 'that girl'.
